Accessibility for Disabled Visitors
We have a range of services and facilities to make Bubbles’ World of Play as accessible as possible for everyone, including visitors with disabilities.
We have tried to design this website to take into account users who are visually impaired or have difficulties using a mouse. We hope you find it easy to use and find what you are looking for. If you have any problems using the site please contact us on 0151 691 6030 and we will try to answer your query.
We have 9 disabled parking spaces at the front of the car park, near the main entrance.
A lift is available for wheelchair access to the 1st floor of our building.
Accessible Toilet Facilities
Accessible toilets are located on both the Ground and 1st floors of our building. Toilets include pull chord alarms, easy access hand rails, sink with automatic soap dispenser and warm air hand dryers.
A hearing loop is available on our admission counter.
Due to the nature of our padded play areas with rope bridges, slides, gradient drops and other obstacles, for safety reasons wheel chairs are not able to navigate within these areas. We do however offer out of hours sessions where children under 12 who require additional assistance from their parents or carers to come in and enjoy the play areas in a quieter and calmer environment. Please ask at reception for more information.
Our play areas have been classified safe to be used by children within specific age ranges. These age ranges are:
- Baby & Toddler Area – Under 3’s only
- Role Play Area – 1 – 5s only
- Main Play Frame 4 – 11 years old
The above age ranges have been stipulated by ROSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) inspectors, our own Health & Safety consultants and our insurers and are for the safety of all guests. These age limits are calculated based on the size of the areas, the objects within the areas, the capacities of the areas and the age and size of other children within the areas. Bubbles’ World of Play has to enforce these age limits due to Health & Safety and Insurance requirements. UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE UNABLE TO MAKE ANY EXCEPTIONS TO THESE RULES.
