Front of House Employment Positions
We are looking for bubbly and outgoing Front of House Staff who are able to assist with the various different areas within the building including front desk, food service, floor & table cleaning, frame supervision and party hosting. Candidates must be comfortable dealing with adults and children and be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Candidates would have ideally worked in a restaurant / catering / entertainment venue and must be available to work Saturday and Sunday and also school holidays.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Welcome and greet all guests.
- Answer guests queries in person and over the phone, deal with guests issues and complaints.
- Handle Admissions and guest check in / check out procedures.
- Accept guest payment, process credit card payments or make change (if applicable).
- Ensure accurate capacity management of the centre.
- Take and administer Birthday Party Bookings in person, over phone and online; answer party queries, chase Party payments and ensure party guests are correctly checked in / out.
- Assist with party planning and scheduling.
- Assist with administrative duties.
- Ensure accurate till tray management and cashing up procedures.
- Answer telephone calls.
- Answer questions about our food, beverages and other functions and services.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen areas.
- Serve food and drinks consistent with the centre’s quality standards and portion controls.
- Be able to make high quality teas & coffees (following training).
- Serve Ice Creams, Deserts, confectionary and pastries
- Operate the coffee machines, soda fountains, paging systems, dumb waiters and any other food / drink prep items.
- Deliver food from kitchen to guests in a timely matter, either directly to their table (1st floor) or to the food collection point (Ground Floor).
- Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required.
- Maintain clean service areas and ensure our 5 star food hygiene standards are adhered to.
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Accept guest payment, process credit card payments or make change (if applicable).
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise.
- Clear, clean and replenish tables and condiment / cutlery stations.
- Be able to clean the play frames and work within the play frames all day.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the centre as directed by the manager or immediate supervisor. This includes switching roles with other members of the team.
- Assist in the cleaning of Play Frames, toilets and other areas of the centre.
- Be available for out of hours frame cleans.
Rate of Pay:
21+ £11.44
18-20 £8.60
16 - 17 £6.56
