Birthday Party Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Deposit

To secure a birthday party booking, a non-refundable deposit of £50 is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be deducted from your final bill. The remaining balance can be paid in instalments, with the final balance due 5 days before your scheduled party date.

2. Final Numbers and Balance Payment

Final numbers must be confirmed, and the remaining balance must be paid in full, 5 days before your birthday party date. We are unable to proceed with your booking without receipt of final payment.

3. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made more than 30 days before the party date: The £50 deposit will be refunded.
• Cancellations made 15-30 days before the party date: 50% of the party cost will be retained.
• Cancellations made less than 15 days before the party date: The full party cost will be retained.
• No refunds will be issued for no-shows or cancellations made on the day of the party.

4. No-Shows and Non-Attendance

Once final numbers have been confirmed 5 days before the birthday party, we are unable to refund for no-shows or children who do not attend. However, we can offer an admission ticket for every child that doesn't show (provided the number of children attending is not less than the minimum number of 12 children required for your chosen birthday party package).

5. Changes to Party Numbers

Additional children can be added to your birthday party provided you notify us at least 5 days before your party date. Additional charges will apply at the prevailing rate for the time of booking.

Our party rooms have capacity limits (maximum 21 children for some themed booths, maximum 42 children in the larger Savannah area). When booking, please select an accurate provisional number as exceeding capacity may result in an alternative room being offered.

6. Minimum Party Size

The minimum number of children for a birthday party is 12. If your party falls below this number, we reserve the right to cancel the party or apply a minimum party charge.

7. Allergy and Dietary Information

All allergy and dietary requirement information must be provided at least 3 days before your birthday party. We require detailed information about all allergies and dietary needs so our kitchen team can make appropriate preparations. We are a nut-free venue - any cakes brought into the building must not contain nuts or traces of nuts.

8. Arrival and Departure Times

Please arrive approximately 10 minutes before your scheduled party start time. We are unable to allow guests into the building more than 10 minutes early as your party host will be busy setting up. Your party is scheduled for 2 hours. You must vacate the party area and reserved seating at the end of this time to allow other party guests to enjoy their celebrations.

9. Adult Supervision and Capacity

We allow 1 adult for every child booked onto the birthday party, plus a few additional adults for the birthday child. This is to ensure all guests have ample room and space to enjoy the party. Additional adults may be required to pay standard admission fees. Adults are responsible for supervising their own children during play time.

10. Extended Play After Party

If you wish to stay longer after your birthday party ends, you would need to be re-admitted into our system and standard admission fees will apply. You will be required to vacate the party area and reserved seating.

11. Siblings and Additional Guests

Guest siblings are welcome to attend and will pay standard admission to play for the duration of the party. If you would like additional children to join the birthday party (beyond your original booking), we may be able to add them on the day at standard rates, provided we do not exceed party room capacity and have enough notice to provide adequate food.

12. Decorations, Party Games, and Cakes

You are welcome to bring balloons for your birthday party, provided you monitor them and they are not taken outside of the party area (due to health and safety concerns with ribbons).

Unfortunately, other decorations and games such as banners, piñatas, confetti, and party poppers are not permitted for health and safety reasons.

You are welcome to bring a birthday cake. Our party hosts will cut it for you according to your specifications. If bringing a cake, please provide candles. Sparkler-type candles are not permitted as they interfere with our fire alarms and can cause burns.

13. Outside Food and Drink

Only food and drink purchased from Bubbles World of Play may be consumed within the building. We offer pre-booked adult food platters, cakes, and additional items available from our food counters. We can also arrange drinks tabs for adult guests if requested.

14. External Entertainment

We are unable to allow external entertainment due to security and safety concerns. Our party hosts provide entertainment and supervision throughout your party.

15. Photography and Recording

You are welcome to take photographs and videos for personal use during your child's birthday party. However, please be respectful of other party guests and their privacy.

16. Behaviour and Conduct

Bubbles World of Play reserves the right to refuse service to any guest whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, abusive, or poses a risk to the safety of other visitors or staff. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

17. Injury and Liability

Whilst Bubbles World of Play takes every care to ensure the safety of all guests, soft play activities do carry an element of risk. Parents and guardians must ensure children use the play equipment in accordance with our Rules of Play. Bubbles World of Play is not liable for any injuries sustained during normal use of the facility.

19. Pricing and Availability

Prices are subject to change without notice. However, once your deposit has been received, your party price is locked in at the rate quoted. Birthday party dates are subject to availability and will be confirmed at the time of booking.

20. Payment Methods and Instalments

We accept payment via the secure payment link provided in your booking confirmation email. Providing the final balance is paid 5 days in advance, you can make as many instalment payments as you like.

22. Amendments to Terms

Bubbles World of Play reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The most current version will be available on our website.
